About the event
SOMi Sauna is a wood-fired mobile sauna and cold plunge experience operating on-site at Detroit River Sports and Coriander Kitchen & Farm in Detroit’s Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood. Sessions are simple: heat up, cool down, and relax outside between rounds.
75-Minute Sessions: $28 (per person)
Each session includes:
Wood-fired cedar sauna (fits up to 12 people at a time)
Cold plunge
Outdoor rest area + fire pit
Capacity note: Up to 12 guests can be in the sauna at once. Larger groups are welcome — groups rotate between sauna, plunge, and the outdoor rest area during the session or private event.
Private Events (Monday–Sunday)
Book SOMi for birthdays, team outings, brand activations, wellness events, or large group gatherings.
Private events can be structured as:
A single private session for up to 12 at once, or
A rotating format for larger groups (sauna + plunge + rest cycles)

Food + Drink On-Site
When Coriander is open, guests can purchase food and drinks on-site (short menu availability may vary by day/time).

Wear a swimsuit or athletic attire
Bring two towels if you can (one to sit on, one to dry off)
